Feryal Hajee, MD, is an award-winning allergist based at Metropolitan Asthma and Allergy in Little Silver, New Jersey. She specializes in asthma and immunology and has a board certification from both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Asthma and Immunology (ABAI).
In 2003, Dr. Hajee graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica before moving to State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Flatbush, Brooklyn, in 2004 for an internship, which became a residency in 2006. She stayed on in New York to complete a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology in 2008.
Dr. Hajee is active in her field. She recently served as president of the New Jersey Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology Society (NJAAIS), after a successful vice-presidency in 2019. She’s also a member of both the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology (ACAAI).
Widely recognized among her peers, Dr. Hajee has published work in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI) and Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Science, and she was recently inducted into worldwide registry. She has won numerous awards in recognition of her achievements and practice, including Best Intern of the Year in 2004 and was elected one of America’s Top Doctors and Best Doctor in Lincroft, New Jersey, in 2009. She has also appeared on 12 For Your Health, part of the News 12 New Jersey network.
Dr. Hajee was born and raised in London, England. In 1996, she moved to New Jersey and currently lives in Monmouth County with her husband and three children. When not in the treatment room, you’ll find her running, playing soccer, biking, and cooking.
Meghan graduated from NYIT with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management. In her spare time she enjoys going for runs with her Belgian Malinois named Mali, making wine with her husband Alan, crafting, baking and traveling. One thing you may not know about her is she had the opportunity to dance on stage at Radio City Music Hall with her dance studio when she was in High School.
Katie has 10+ years in medical experience. She has various recognitions through the community for her work as a Volunteer EMT. She has her LPN license from Lincoln Technical Institute. In her spare time she enjoys trivia, watching old movies and playing with her cat Mayhem. One thing you may not know about her is she is secretly a closet nerd and loves Harry Potter!
